Chikading! is an amazing trio that existed around 2008-2011 and played around the Sacramento/Davis area.. featuring Tony Passarell, Robert Kuhlmann, and the elusive Dex Lopaz...but alas.. as all good things do.. they came to an end and were never to be heard from again.... well almost never..
In the spring of 2018.. I had a this great idea to get Chikading! back together for one night only and share the stage, once again, with another band from that time window that had gone by the wayside...my trio Garage Jazz Architects.. and so we talked and everyone was available and in agreement..and so it was booked.
in May of 2018, Chikading played the 2009 Flashback show at Luna's Cafe for the Nebraska Mondays series.. this is the audio capture of that set. This MAY be the last time that this trio surfaces... who knows.. but at least THIS appearance has been captured and is available for you to enjoy.
